Release notes
What's new in ScreenSwytch, newest first.
1.0.2
21 August 2026
Fixed
- The popup asking “Are your screens OK?” now appears when you plug in a monitor or dock.
- Opening ScreenSwytch from the tray is instant.
- A stray “” in the status bar.
Changed
- Turn the popup off from the tray menu (Notify me when screens change) or on the popup itself. IT:
HKCU\Software\ScreenSwytch.co.uk\ScreenSwytch\DockRemindersEnabled = 0.
- Licences and trials are confirmed online with
api.screenswytch.co.uk. A trial needs it each time it opens; a licensed PC keeps working for 48 hours without it.
- Installer and app are code-signed.
- Log files rotate instead of being wiped.
